[ Retreats ] [ Upcoming Retreats 2006 ] [ Workshops ] [ Events ] EVENTS Schedule of Poetry and Readings from Sacred Literature               3rd Sunday of each month, 9:00 – 10: 30 PM This fall and the winter of 2006, our focus is on sacred poetry from the ancient world. All poetry programs  are the third Sunday of each month from September through May, and are held from 9:00-10:30 PM at the Genesis Center for Interfaith Studies. Light refreshments are served. This is a very supportive group and the feedback is an invaluable source for refining your poetry writing skills. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share that can accommodate a few people. The food must be vegetarian, preferably vegan. If dairy is used, it must be either raw and free of animal renet, or kosher. Organic is always welcome as a first choice of foods. You may check with Rachelle regarding food choices to bring so that we do not have too much duplication. Jewish festivals are lunar calendar based, so please refer to our weekly mailings for the correct time to come, or call Rachelle at 718-544-5997.
