Wellness Counseling
For weight management, optimal performance and well-being.
Services:
Nutritional and energy balance assessment
Includes metabolic profiling, Ayurvedic body typing and life-style
analysis, Chakra and pulse analysis, and a physical examination.
Additional tests that may be required are a full metabolic profile,
a complete blood count, allergy testing, and hair analysis –
these tests are not part of the cost of the program.
Nutritional Fitness Plan
- Based on bio-chemical individuality from a correlation of the available information.
- Monitoring of cardio-respiratory performance based on target zone work and recovery time, body fat-to-muscle ratio, weight stabilization, general energy levels, and re-assessment at the end of the three month program.

Private Yoga & fitness training - 16 one-hour sessions
Training for cardio-respiratory health, muscular strength and endurance,
flexibility, and correct fat-to-muscle ratio.
For managing stress, clarity of mind, and cleansing of energy pathways (nadis).
An integrative practice of Hatha Yoga for body, mind, and spirit.
Additional fitness training includes a number of disciplines as deemed
appropriate: dance movement, aerobic exercise, resistance training.
All programs are created to meet the unique needs of the individual.
Fee: $1,200.00

Program facilitators:
Dr. David Alkalay is the founder and executive director of The
Genesis Society and the Genesis Health Center . He is a well-known healer
working with the subtle energy channels of the body and has helped
thousands of people recover their well-being. Dr. Alkalay is also the
administrator of The Genesis Yoga Center and is the author of several
books as well as numerous articles on the subject of health and fitness.
He holds a Ph.D. in Theology from the Theological Seminary and a second Ph.D.
in Nutrition from the American College of Nutrition in Alabama and has a
certificate degree in Nutrition and Natural Health from Bastyr University
in Washington . He is certified as a fitness trainer with the American
Aerobics & Fitness Association and is certified in various yogic traditions.
