As this year draws to a close and our memories of the holidays are still fresh, I am seeking your help to support the vital work of The Genesis Society and The Tree of Life Yoga and Wellness Center .

Donations from individuals like you are critical to our success. Such contributions provide financial support for our efforts to develop and present programs for individual and ecological health while continuing to build our local community.

You may believe that the larger national or international organizations are more deserving of your support, but consider please that while their effort is global and certainly critical, ours is a local grass-roots organizations that is improving the lives of individuals within our community and raising the quality of life in a definitive and measurable way. And it is organizations like ours that the larger organizations turn to when reaching out to particular communities.

Supporting our work is especially urgent today when the world's future is endangered and the political climate in the United States threatens many of our most important and longstanding health-care and environmental protections. Our political and economic leaders are ignoring our spiritual and ethical obligation and are showing little concern for the well-being of future generations.

In the face of these threats, bi-partisan grass-roots organizations, as well as bi-partisan national coalitions are needed now more than ever.

The Genesis Society integrates environmental awareness and alternative health care with action and serves as a voice of the Queens community on these issues. We are your organization and we need your support.

BUILDING FUND DRIVE :

We need to raise $55,000.00
Our immediate work is a substantial renovation of our center in order to create two additional studio spaces to increase the programs we can provide to the community. We are currently involved with a building fund drive to raise fifty five thousand dollars and your help is urgently needed with this project.
